25-250mm zoom lens 35OPF7-1M/AM (f/3.5, T/4.3) - macro?

€495.00EUR

The lens was made at CKBK (aka EKRAN) in 1975 (#750003).

Quite weird piece of glass :-)

First of all, it has a mount unknown to me. Insertion diameter is 70mm that is bit larger than for OCT-19.

So, I can't test it on camera so far, and followind thought are mostly assumptions based on 35OPF7-1 lens features and this lens marks.

It seems that this lens is MACRO version of regular OPF7-1. This assumption supported by a distance scale marked from 0.93 to 1.17. And this forces me to think that these numbers are rather macro factor, not a distance.

It has also other scales from 0.03 to 0.88 (few scales for different diopters and witho/witohout rear anamorphic attachment installed). I think that these are distance scales.

Purpose of the white tape with 1mm scale step and each centimeter marked is unknown to me.

Fastest T-stop is 4.0 for a spherical setup (25-250mm), and 6.0 for an anamorphic setup (50-500mm). The lens can accept rear screw-on anamorphic attachment (I saw it on eBay recently).

Quite used condition. There is some dust inside and some tiny scratches. Also, it seems that one small screw is felt off inside.

Overall impression is that is quite unique lens, and specified price is for it AS IS to let you fix/clean it yourself, and to play with it on your own to discover all its features. We don't have enough time to work on it now. But if it will remain unsold till we have a chance to dedicate enough efforts to it, we'll remount it to Arri PL, most probably, and will sell it at 2-3 times higher price. So, don't miss your chance now :-)
