Helios 103 lens is a normal angle (standard) Russian coated objective for Kiev, Contax and Bessa-2RC rangefinder cameras.
Helios 103 lens was made to replace old Jupiter-8 at latest Soviet Kiev-4 series cameras. This lens provides better image quality than old Jupiter-8, especially with color films.
All the Helios lenses are based on the Zeiss Biotar concept. Contrary to the Sonnar construction, this lenses are symmetrical. Here is a drawing on the Helios 103 lens (thanks to Peter Hennig, member of the Zeiss Historica Society).

You'll not be able to focus the Helios-103 lens on m39, of course. But if you are photo enthusiast, you'll have some fun playing with it, I believe ;-)
I was told that it was intended for using the lens with photo enlargers originally.
