Shipping To Us

Sometime you need to send us your equipment for service, repair, return etc. Here are important guidelines.

1. Use some state postal service ONLY (such as USPS, Royal Mail etc.) NEVER use any private courier like UPS, TNT, FedEx, DHL etc. In our country, such couriers don't considered as postal services. So, items shipped with them will not be delivered to us without customs clearance (that means whole day wasted and plenty of money spent to pay fees, taxes and other dues). So, we'll just reject such parcels, and your money spent on such shipping will be lost.

2. Declare low customs value. We have to pay tremendous 30% customs fee for incoming parcels - this way our country urges us to buy items made by local manufacturers, though best things we produce are filings and sawdust :-) This fee is calculated based on total of declared value and shipping charge. For example, if you declared $10 value, and shipping charge was $30, I'll have to pay $12 customs fee. Plus taxes in the beginning of the next year (10% minimum that means another $4). In most cases we estimate these expenses and include them into service cost, but if you declare high customs value, we'll charge you extra to cover those 40% expenses on incoming parcels.

3. Any marks like 'for repair', 'for re-export' etc. are ignored here, and don't help to avoid customs fees and taxes, unfortunately. So, just mark them as a 'gift', and this should be ok.
