Kiev-30 is subminiature 16mm film camera, convenient and reliable. It allows taking pictures good for 9x12cm prints or for 13x17mm slides.

The camera Kiev-30 has built-in 3.5/23mm lens.
Plastic film cartridge accepts 65 cm or 45 cm of 16mm non-perforated film (you get 25 or 17 frames correspondingly).
Metal shutter has fixed opening width and can shoot with 1/30, 1/60, 1/200 sec speeds.
It is possible to use a flash lamp with any shutter speed since the frame window is exposed to flash light at any speed.
Film advance, shutter cock and frame counter advance are coupled and accomplished in each closing/opening cycle of the camera.
Frame counter shows number of took frames. Red dot specifies the last frame on the 45cm long film.
You can set necessary object distance from 0.5m to infinity (∞) by means of the distance dial. The dial is marked with following values: 0.5; 1; 2; ∞; red dot corresponds to 5m distance.
Film plane position is marked on the film cartridge cover with ? symbol.
Camera body has a weather scale and exposure calculator that allows you to determine shutter speed and aperture for daylight outdoor shots depending on the loaded film sensitivity (16 to 130 GOST/ASA).
