LOMO-135BC(VS) camera

This camera is a spring motor equivalent of the Smena-Symbol. In the upper left hand corner of the front is LOMO in black block letters and below it id 135BC in red. In the middle of the top is the viewfinder window and the bright line window surrounded by a black frame.

Focusing and f stops are set on the lens. The leaf shutter is in the lens and can be set either by speeds or symbols. The available speeds are 250,125,60,30,15 and B. On the left top is the motor wind knob, when fully wound the spring motor is good for 15 frames. On top of the knob is a dial to convert film speeds to f stop settings. In the top right corner is a black plastic rectangle containing the film counter window and a square black plastic shutter release which is threaded for a cable release.

The bottom of the camera is covered with controls. From right to left are the rewind crank, the back latch with quarter inch tripod bushing, rewind release knob and a hot shoe. An intriguing place for the hot shoe as it is impossible to use a tripod and flash simultaneously. The case for this camera is a small soft black leatherette bag with no markings.
