Adapters with Imperial threads
Standard mount for industrial cameras, machine vision cameras, CCTV, and cine cameras since the 1930s. Also used on many microscope camera adapters (trinocular phototubes) and some scientific cameras. Thread: 1 inch (25.4mm) x 32 TPI, flange distance 17.526mm.
Same thread as C-mount (1"x32tpi) but with a shorter 12.526mm flange focal distance. Used on security cameras, CCTV, and some industrial cameras. CS-mount cameras can accept C-mount lenses via a 5mm spacer.
Standard for 8mm and 16mm cine cameras and some early video cameras. Thread: 15.88mm x 32 TPI, flange distance 12.29mm. Used in Kodak 8mm cameras, Bolex 8mm, and some early TV lenses. Now used with adapter rings on mirrorless cameras.

Royal Microscopical Society standard — the universal microscope objective thread since the 19th century. Thread: 20.32mm x 36 TPI. Used by Olympus and Zeiss on their finite-conjugate objectives; also on many older Nikon objectives and virtually all "DIN" standard objectives from Leitz, American Optical, and others.
Standard for Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (SCT) back-cell threads. Used on Celestron and Meade SCTs to attach visual backs, reducers, and camera adapters. Thread: 2 inch x 24 TPI.
Thorlabs SM1 thread — a common standard for laboratory and photonics optomechanics. Used extensively in Thorlabs cage systems, tube lens assemblies, and microscopy research setups. Thread: 1.035 inch x 40 TPI.
