This adapter allows using standard 77mm screw-in filters on lenses with M45x0.5 filter thread.
Distinction for other version we have is longer rear part. It is necessary for some KMZ lenses that have recessed filter thread. Short male thread can't reach it, so this adapter solves this problem. But if your lens has regular filter thread at the front edge, it is better to get shorter adapter to reduce risk of vignetting.
