This adapter allows using large focusing helicoids on cameras with MFT (Micro Four Thirds) mount.

Such focusing helicoids allow using some LOMO projection lenses for portrait and macro purposes.

This adapther adds 9mm to optical path.

Pros: you can use it on any MFT cameras, even with protruding front elements like Panasonic G1.

Cons: some lenses could not reach infinity focus in such setup, probably (not confirmed so far, but there is some risk).

Another advantage over original version is front M40.5x0.5 female thread. It allows using polarizers or neutral density filters if necessary.
