I'm looking for a cost effective EF mount for my red one MX. I've never heard of this one before. Do I have to adjust focus etc once its installed...do you also have instructions on how to mount it?

Hi! Yes, you need to adjust focus since you need to change whole front part of the camera mount system. Luckily, RED One has built-in ability to adjust this focus rotating coupling ring with opposite thread directions. I don't have special instructions or manual. The process is quite simple: loose screws of the coupling ring, remove front part of the camera mount, place our plate there, tight the ring a bit, adjust focus, tight the ring completely. Thanks. This adapter allows using OCT-19 lenses (from Russian 35mm movie cameras like Konvas-2M, Kinor-35) or RED ONE cameras.

To install this adapter, you need to remove front plate from the RED ONE completely and replace it with the OCT-19 mount plate.

Adjusting of the flange focal distance is done as usually using built-in RED ONE system.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This adapter fits original RED One camera design only. It will NOT fit RED One MX or any other later modification.
