This adapter allows using Wild-Heerburg objectives on Leica M60 microscopes (models M50, M60, M80).

Wild objectives are cheaper than Leica, but can pefrorm fine on Leica microscopes. The problem is the interface. Although the Wild M8 objective has an M60 thread it would not mount to M80 due to the threads being positioned further down the objective. This feature prevents installation on Leica.

The adapter solves this problem.
