F-92 2/92mm projection lens in Arri PL focusing mount

About the base lens

The F-92  is 2/92mm multicoated projection lens used in slide projector LETI-60M for 36x24mm film frame size.

The lens will cover even larger sensor, including Fuji GFX (44x33mm), though resolution beyond the target 36x24mm area will be lower than 50 lines per mm.

The lens optical design is Planar, consisting of 6 elements in 4 groups. It produces a nice soft image.

The back focus is long enough to adapt the lens to any modern SLR or non-reflex digital camera.

There is no iris diaphragm, and the lens aperture if always fully open therefore.

Resolution is 100 lines per mm in the center, and 50 lpmm at the edge.

Modifications done

• Arri PL mount installed
• A Helios lens body is added as a focusing mechanism (infinity focus is possible, minimum focus distance is about 1 meter)
• The focusing unit is cleaned and re-lubricated to operate smoothly
• Metal follow focus ring installed
• Front 72mm filter adapter and 72mm lens hood installed
• Front and rear lens caps included

Condition

Glass is clean and clear. There is no fungus, no scratches. Test photos taken with this lens attached.

The lens is in Moscow, and will be shipped from there within a few days since order date.
