M25x0.75 male to M27x0.75 female thread adapter, black

The M27x0.75 thread is the standard objective mount used on older European microscopes - particularly Leitz, Reichert, and some early Zeiss instruments produced before the widespread adoption of the RMS standard. If you have a modern microscope with an M25×0.75 nosepiece and want to use a vintage Leitz or Reichert objective from your collection, this adapter bridges the gap without any modification to either piece of equipment.

The 7mm added length is generally neutral for most brightfield objectives but should be checked against your microscope's parfocal distance if using high-magnification objectives (40× and above), where a few millimeters can push beyond the parfocal range.
