This adapter makes it possible to convert a telephoto lens with Universal (M42x1) thread into an amateur telescope.
Just put your lens on one side of the adapter, add a 2″ telescope eyepiece to the other side, and you're done!
IMPORTANT: This is a short version of the adapter purposed for a standard 30mm eyepiece barrel. It is about 10mm shorter than necessary to get infinity focus. This means that you have plenty of space to focus the lens or to add a spacer if necessary (to use it with a short focal length lens, for example).
