It has a quartz glass, and purposed for observation and photographing in the ultraviolet spectrum range.
Compensating eyepieces are used with apochromatic objectives, with high power achromatic objectives, and with medium and high power planachromatic objectives.
Photo eyepieces are purposed to project image to a film, screen or sensor.
Best matching objective is special LOMO mirror-lens 40x objective for UV range.
